When you use RytDait, we collect the following information:
- Account information: phone number or social login credentials
- Profile data: name, age, gender, weight, height, health conditions, allergens, dietary preferences, and fitness goals
- Usage data: meal logs, streak data, and app interaction patterns
- Device information: device identifier for single-device login security
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Generate personalised meal plans tailored to your health profile
- Track your nutrition progress and streaks
- Provide health-condition-aware dietary recommendations
- Improve our AI meal planning algorithms
- Send you meal reminders and streak notifications (with your permission)
3. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored securely on encrypted cloud servers
- Health information is never shared with third parties
- PIN and biometric authentication protect sensitive data within the app
- We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication (login)
- OpenAI / Anthropic (meal plan generation — your profile data is sent to generate plans, but not stored by these providers)
- Apple In-App Purchases (payment processing)
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data (visible in My Info screen)
- Delete your account and all associated data (Settings → My Account → Delete Account)
- Export your data upon request
- Opt out of notifications at any time
6. Data Retention
- Active accounts: data retained while account is active
- Deleted accounts: all data permanently removed within 30 days
- Cached meal plans expire after 30 days automatically
7. Single-Device Policy
For security, RytDait allows one active device per account. If you sign in on a new device, the previous session is automatically terminated.
8. Children's Privacy
RytDait is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification.
